But we have no such nested\u000aprint() anywhere, only in test scripts themselves.\u000a\u000aAs a result of this, a multi-line print() in test scripts now no longer\u000aputs the log prefix (timestamp, test name...) and suffix (backtrace /\u000asource position) to each single line, but prints the multiline block\u000abetween a single log prefix and suffix -- exactly like the log()\u000afunction does everywhere else.\u000a\u000aI actually briefly implemented adding the log prefix to each separate\u000aline everywhere, but decided that it is not a good idea: in some places\u000awe log config file snippets and other lists, and prepending the log\u000aprefix to each line makes pasting such a snippet from (say) a jenkins\u000alog super cumbersome. And the log prefix (backtrace) attached on each\u000aseparate line makes multiline blocks very noisy, unreadable.\u000a\u000aChange-Id: I0972c66b9165bd7f2b0b387e0335172849199193\u000a",

Now, while I'm close to the topic, I want this to improve:\u000a\u000aProperly match a GET_REPLY/SET_REPLY to a sent GET/SET by the message\u000aID.\u000a\u000aCompletely drop the do_get() and do_set(), which were not useful for\u000acorrect handling of the CTRL request and response messaging. The API to\u000ause by callers is set_var(), get_var()/get_int_var() and get_trap().\u000aThese call the internal _sendrecv() (or for TRAP only _recv())\u000afunctions. Make it so that tese work both on an already connected\u000aOsmoCtrl, as well as one that needs to establish a (short) connection,\u000aso that both are trivially possible:\u000a\u000a # one CTRL connection stays open\u000a with OsmoCtrl(...) as ctrl:\u000a \u0009ctrl.get_var('var1')\u000a \u0009ctrl.get_var('var2')\u000a \u0009ctrl.get_var('var3')\u000a\u000aand\u000a\u000a # get_var() opens a connection, does the GET and closes again\u000a OsmoCtrl(...).get_var('var1')\u000a\u000aDo away with doubling the instances OsmoCtrl and e.g. OsmoBscCtrl.\u000aRather make OsmoBscCtrl a child class of OsmoCtrl, which means that we\u000ano longer have bsc.ctrl().ctrl(), just bsc.ctrl().\u000a\u000aHave VERB_* constants instead of dup'd strings.\u000a\u000aApply to / simplify all callers of OsmoCtrl.\u000a\u000aSome of these changes are similar to recently added OsmoVty.\u000a\u000aChange-Id: Id561e5a55d8057a997a8ec9e7fa6f94840194df1\u000a",

We\u000aactivate tethering and set up a SSH server (with Dropbear).\u000aWe chose tethering over WiFi to have a more stable route\u000afor the ssh connection. We forward incoming connections to\u000athe OGT unit hosting the Android UE(s) on specific ports\u000ato the UEs via iptables. This enables OGT to issue commands\u000adirectly to the UEs. In case of local execution we use ADB\u000ato issue commands to the AndroidUE. The set up was tested\u000awith 5 Android UEs connected in parallel but it should be\u000ascalable to the number of available IPs in the respective\u000asubnet. Furthermore, we need to cross compile Dropbear\u000aand iPerf3 to use them on the UEs. These tools have to be\u000aadded to the $PATH variable of the UEs.\u000a\u000aExamplary set up:\u000aIn this example we have two separate OGT units (master\u000aand slave) and two Android UEs that are connected to the\u000aslave unit. "comment" : "srsue.conf.tmpl: reduce nof PHY threads to 2 for ZMQ\u000a\u000awe've detected a possible race condition during the Msg3\u000atransmission that caused the thread that sets the Msg3 grant\u000ato be delayed. The PHY worker that executed TTI+2 finished\u000aby that time already and didn't even see the pending UL grant.\u000a\u000aThis is issue is more likely to happen on loaded system,\u000afor example when running parallel ZMQ jobs. We therefore decided\u000ato reduce the number of parallel PHY workers to 2 so the issue\u000ais circumvented.\u000a\u000aChange-Id: Ibdb42a1705d87b6d343201458c8fe397398802bc\u000a",
